Diego Couto is a Brazilian photographer living in Madrid, photographing people who love each other — up close, quietly, without a script.

His approach is documentary at heart: real gestures, found light, days told as they happen. He takes on a limited number of weddings and sessions each year, in Spain and wherever the story goes.
